From 17th to 22nd September 2017, at the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, a workshop for graduate students from Poland and Germany was held. The event was organized within the framework of the project “German-Polish Network for Bone Engineering”, in which the consortium partners are: Technische Universität Dresden, AGH University of Science and Technology, Polish Society for Biomaterials, German Society for Biomaterials, and a company – InnoTERE Biomaterials GmbH.
The workshop had 25 student participants from, e.g.: Technische Universität Dresden, Technische Universität Berlin, Leibniz Universität Hannover, University Medical Center Rostock, AGH University of Science and Technology, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW, Medical University of Warsaw, Gdańsk University of Technology, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz, Lodz University of Technology. It consisted of lectures delivered by the distinguished speakers from Poland and Germany and laboratory classes organized by the scientists of the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics (AGH University of Science and Technology) and the Faculty of Chemistry (Jagiellonian University in Kraków).
